Mgp Growler exhaust er6 /ex650

Such a shame Hotbodies doesn’t make an Mgp growler for my bike.  The stock exhaust is very hefty and the Yoshimura stainless steel slipon was no lightweight either. I took it upon myself to build an exhaust system for my ex650.  I used the thinnest wall stainless I could find on summit racings website.  I wanted a carbon fiber silencer. I have always like the look of Racefit slipons, but I just could not justify the cash for something that I will probably destroy, the first time I lay the bike down on the right side.

I was able to get the cam timing information, the bore and stroke, cubic centimetres per cylinder, and some more information.  I then took that information and plugged it into an exhaust calculator.

We all get the same 24 hours however, our success is based on how we spend them.
Some hanger brackets need to be made and the spring loop needs to be moved (I have way to much tension on it).  Other than all that, the exhaust is nearly complete.

Riding motorcycles and wrenching since my preteen years, I have moved from motocross to street bikes. Being a teen back in those days it was tough to get me off of the bike. Now days even though I am very busy being a dad I still have my weekends and go to the track to race and on occasion will do a track day or two.
